Petaquilla GOLD S.A., sows native species as part of the soil recovery program.

 

The Petaquiilla Gold. S.A. company, has sown native species in the areas that have been already explored, with the finality of recovering soil that has already been used, which is  part of a pilot and innovative revegetation and soil nitrogenation program,  informed Forestal engineer, Enrique Meléndez

 

Meléndez, in charge of the soil revegetation project of The Petaquilla Gold S.A. company, explained that with this purpose species likeThe Bateo, The Pérez Montaña, Pegle and Guabo, among others have been sown.

 

He indicated that as proof that the Petaquilla Gold, S.A. company, led by impresario Richard Fifer-Carles observes rigid environment protection norms to recover and not contaminate the soils, the leguminous and tubercle that are sown are used as part of the varied menu that is offered to the employees, as a certifying proof of the responsibility which is used to work the mining project.
