Each corner of San Lorenzo is a piece of History, Ruiz Pena

The director of the Public Companies of the Autonomous Region of Extremadura, Spain, Jaime Ruiz Pena during his visit to the Fort of San Lorenzo, located in the Atlantic Panamanian coast said that he was impressed with each corner of the Fort of San Lorenzo as a piece of History, since the stone talk about a period of glory and defeats.

“We are in one of the most privileged places of the planet and the intuition that I have is that this touristic area that we are missing we have to bet on unique sites in the world and the Fort San Lorenzo would be” he added.

Ruiz Pena visited Panam by an invitation of the Foundation Castilla del Oro of Spain and Panama, led by the businessman Richard Fifer-Carles, so he can learn about the potentials of rural tourism of Panama and so they can assess and transmit their positive experience that they have had in this type of tourism in the region of Spain that they represent, which has the first place of world in rural tourism.
