Castilla del Oro Foundation and tourism authority make contribution to country’s history and culture

The deputy director of Historical Heritage of the National Culture Institute, Yamileth Stanziola, thanked the Castilla del Oro Foundation and the Tourism Authority for the contribution they make to the country’s history and culture because “we are all working on recovery of our history: history and culture are a nation’s identity.”

“To the extent that we are able to recover these things we are building culture and history and we are building a country’s conscience,” stressed Stanziola, following a meeting attended by the PTA and the foundation to discuss progress of implementating recovery of San Francisco de la Montaña’s church value.

Castilla del Oro Foundation, led by Panamanian businessman Richard Fifer Carles, aims to promote the sustainable development of these Panamanian regions to generate wealth and prosperity for its inhabitants, both now and in the future. To do this, it will turn this region into a cultural destination of the first order, and will provide the infrastructure necessary to achieve this.
